The rumours have been confirmed. Takki will be in a special drama for 24Hr TV! This will be his 3rd special drama for 24Hr TV. His 1st was back in 1998 for 「心の扉」& his 2nd was 「父の海、僕の空」in 2004. Takki will be acting as a married couple with Kyoko Fukada. They have a son who is suffering from a rare type of illness.

The drama is adapted from a diary which has been published into a book, entitled 「がんばれば、幸せになれるよ」. This diary was written by a mother whose son passed away from a very rare type of child cancer which only affects 1 in 10,000.

There will be 3 parts to the play again, with each part lasting 45mins. Part 1 & 2 will be based on Yoshitsune and it will be acted out solely by Takki alone! Its definitely going to be such a huge testament to Takki's acting skills! Esp since plays are based on live performances..there will be no such thing as doing a 2nd take. Takki is taking on another big challenge for himself yet again! Wow... I wonder how thick his script is going to be?! Takki is going to need to do loads of memorising! Last year's Yoshitsune during Enbujou was pretty long already! I remember Snuffles & Syl saying that they were getting bored & sleepy during it! ROFL! Everyone was just waiting to see Part 3 aka mini-con. LOL!

Takitsuba as anime characters in the opening theme song of One Piece episode #303! This is a collaboration between T&T and One Piece for the 10th anniversary of One Piece appearing in Weekly Shonen Jump. Also, it's T&T's 5th anniversary. So, to commemorate the occasion, T&T appeared in the opening credits in this episode. It's a 1st for the program that real people will appear on the show. It's also a 1st for T&T to appear as anime characters.

Saw the OP. Gosh!!! It's so cute and hilarious!!!! Thou I think the anime charac of Tsubasa looks more like Tsubasa rather than Takki does, but both of them look so cute!!! Just imagine T&T, esp Takki, making 100 x more exaggerated expressions!!! And T&T being chased around by a gigantic monkey!!! Priceless!!!

Also, T&T has a new song!!!! Gosh! I was soooo surprised when I watched the clip!!! Really didn't expect a new song soooo fast!!!!! I mean, X-Dame/Crazy Rainbow is not even released yet!!! And we are hearing a new song already?! WOW!!!!! I hope this is the start of many many nice T&T surprises to come this year!!!!! So, T&T's new song is entitled "Samurai". It's the theme song for Nippon TV [Pride & Spirit Nippon Pro Baseball 2007]. Could hear abit of the song in the background as they interviewed T&T about the new song. It sounds really apt as it has the "fighto" and "ganbatte" feeling!

Also, Takki's black hair can be seen in the clip!!! It's really all black!! WoW! Seems like year 2005 again!

1) T&T will appear on Shin Domoto Kyoudai soon. They are recording an episode on 20th Mar.

2) T&T have revealed during their concert MC talk that they will be releasing a best album this year. The album will include previous unreleased songs.

Saw that KT will be releasing an album on 18th April, same release date as T&T's new single. Thank goodness KT is releasing an album and not a single! T&T will surely be unable to get the No. 1 ranking spot otherwise! *phew* Then, I also saw that KT's album will include previous unreleased songs like "Fight All Night" and "My Angel, You Are Angel" etc. If I remember correctly, these 2 songs were written by Takki? Takki also sang "Fight All Night" during his solo Arigatou con in 2005. It's nice to know that Takki will be creditted in other albums besides T&T's. ^_^

I hope T&T's best album will include their junior songs and Real DX! Been hoping for Real DX to be released officially since eons ago! Thou I remember that T&T have said before that Real DX will not be released officially, but....a girl can still wish right? *winks*

On ToBase tonight, Takki was guest and they played the full version of X-Dame! Is it just me or the 2nd chorus sounds weird & different? 「タキツバCLIPS」 & Takki as Romeo

Long time no update! Been really tied up with work. Rare that manager-san is not around today so I can do a little update! ^_^

Firstly, Takki will be in a mini-drama! The on-air date is unknown yet. But Takki will be acting as Romeo in a modern adaption of Romeo & Juliet! Takki is supposedly the son of a crook and Juliet (played by Nagasawa Masami, the girl who acted in the movie version of Sekaichu) is the daughter of a detective. Is anyone going jealous over Masami-san yet? LOL! But oh dear, I think I'll definitely bawl insanely when I watch this as the love story of Romeo & Juliet is so saddening!!!! T________T

And then, Takitsuba are releasing a dvd! Though I would love it to be the Xmas con dvd, but oh well, something is better than nothing right? ^_^

Takitsuba Hall Tour 2007

Omigosh!!!! Tsubasa revealed on yesterday's FM Yokohama that Takitsuba are going to have a concert tour in Feburary and March next year (2007)!!! They will have 28 concerts in 12 venues!!!!

Both of them looked so genki and their tension was really high! Takitsuba were the first to perform so their intro talk with Tamori-san was quite short. But they were joking and kidding around on national tv! ^_^

Both wore black suits. Takki had a silver pirate brooch on his suit though. Their performance was a medley of Venus chorus, then Ho Samaa chorus and then Kakko Tsukanai Tonight. Could hear that Tsukanai was sang live. They were smiling at each other many times throughout the medley! ^_^ They were standing and facing each other, grinning away during the first 2 lines of Tsukanai. LOL. Then I think Tsubasa kinda forgot to do the first furisake move? Then he kinda grinned sheepishly. lol. But basically, their tension was really quite high and they were really smiling alot throughout the performance, especially to each other. ^_^

All 3 songs had furisake. Minna, we have to start learning the furisake moves for Kakko Tsukanai Tonight! It looks pretty ok after watching the MS clip for a few times. They are mainly hand movements and I think the signature move is a closed-up-V sign.

I'm so glad that they looked so happy throughout! Hope they will be as happy or happier in every other performance! ^_^

16th Nov: Channel @ will be featuring Takitsuba. Maybe they will be showing clips from the album event on 14th Nov, like how they showed clips from the Ho! Samaa event?

I think the most exciting news is the album event on 14th Nov. Source is from J-Net. Not sure of the location yet except that it's in Tokyo. Unfortunately, 14th Nov is on a Tuesday. I doubt Snuffles will be able to make it...but wonder if she might try to go for it? (sends telepathic waves all the way to Japan)

Also, the ending song for Zubari is now "Sayonara no Mukou". And there is apparently a 60 sec promo clip for the new album showing on the giant screens in Japan? Snuffles!!!! Have you seen it yet???

Hontou ni bikurishimashita!!!!!!! Takitsuba's official webpage at Avex has changed an entire new look!!!!! And that's not the most shocking/exciting thing about it.

They have actually put up sample previews of ALL FIFTEEN tracks of [Two You Four You] for us to hear!!!!

Well, all except for "Kakko Tsukanai Tonight", but we have all already heard it from ToBase desho? I totally freaked out in front of my comp when I saw all the tracks up for preview listening!!!! Ok, I must warn everyone that it's only 14 secs per track though. But still!!! I was/am still very excited about it!!! I think this is one of the best, if not, the best thing that Avex has ever done for Takitsuba, well, at least for webpage wise. Yes, I'm a very whiny and picky fan.

Listening to the tracks I have not heard before yet on repeat mode, like "Natsu no Kaze", "Mermaid", "Hey! Listen to the Music" and "Sayonara no Mukou" repeatedly and I like the sound of them so far!!!!! So far, I especially like "Natsu no Kaze" and "Sayonara no Mukou". Was curious about how "Venus ~ Eurobeat Remix" sounds like and yappari..... it's really a song where you can dance the parapara dance to yo... It's...really so typical of the songs for dancing the parapara dance!!!! I can totally imagine it in my head!! And ano.... the "Yume Monogatari ~ Christmas Version" sounds.... pretty similar to the single version that we have? It sounds kinda similar to me...can't really hear/feel a Christmas sound to it, thou perhaps cos it's only 14 secs?

But I REALLY LOVE THE ALBUM already!!!!! And even though I already know how "Black Butterfly" and "12gatsu no Hana" sound like, now I can hear them so much more clearly!!!! Kyah!!!! How many more days to wait for the album to arrive?!!! Can't wait any longer!!! I wana hear the full versions of the tracks!!!!

Remember Takki's golden sandals in Zubari? When I first watched the clip, it looked soooo familiar. And then, I realized why

Recital News: [One!] - The History of Tackey

The news conference for [ONE] was held yesterday. Notes from the articles:

1) There will be 2 parts to the recital, with the focus on the 1st part being Takki's life history.

2) Takki said that the audience will be able to understand his life history from the recital. It will also include his parents' divorce.

3) Takki consulted his mother for information of his life history.

4) Takki will be shown as being borned on a hospital's bench and at the end, Takki will be shown as an old man passing away on a bench in a park. (Omigosh! Why do I feel that the audience will come out of this recital being all teary-eyed? Gyah!! It sounds so sad already!! )

5) Jackie Chan's images/message are scheduled to be used in the recital?!

So this is what they mean by a coaster and keyring!

Basically, there 3 different ways to use it.

The centre part which looks like a mini surf-board with "Tackey & Tsubasa" printed on it, can be detached to be a separate keyring.

The entire piece can be a hanging accessory by itself. However, be careful!! The mini surf-board might drop off without you realising it since it's detachable..so chotto abunai yo..

The entire piece can also be used as a coaster for your drinks!

Maa... I won't even bear to use it in the first place!!!

Ho! Samaa Baseball Event

Takitsuba were having so much fun!!! At the baseball event, Tsubasa was pitching the ball to Takki to bat!! And what on earth is Takki is doing in the pic below?!?! And look at Tsubasa laughing so happily (and lovingly!!!) at Takki!!!

Both Takki and Tsubasa had their own Ho! Samaa jerseys which Takki wore over his t-shirt and Tsubasa wore over his singlet. Takki's jersey had the words "TACKEY 89" written behind. Takki was wearing jeans and Tsubasa was wearing camouflage pants.

Ho! Samaa Event

The Ho! Samaa event was held at a beachhouse in Kamakura. It was raining before the event started. But the rain stopped just before the event started I think. There were really fans who turned up in their bikinis!! Takitsuba taught everyone the furisake to Ho! Samaa. Fans were also given Ho! Samaa promotional uchiwas. Found the uchiwas at Yahoo Auctions.

Bascially, the uchiwas had all the 3 different single covers of Ho! Samaa and also the covers of both their solo concert dvds due to released soon.

While at Yahoo Auctions, I also found the Ho! Samaa promotional poster.

Also saw that people has started selling their tickets for [ONE]. The all last show on 28th September for row A is currently at 20,000yen. But the seller is hoping to reach a price of 50,000yen!!!!

From today's preview of next week's episode of Utaban with Takitsuba, Takitsuba and Nakai (SMAP) are going to do the Domiso Samurai skit again Apparently, Takki will be Samurai Do, Tsubasa will be Samurai Mi and Nakai will be Samurai So.

Oh gosh, I still watch that skit that they did the last time and it does not fail to crack me up every single time that I watch it! I really can't wait to watch next week's Utaban!!! O tanoshimi ne!!!

SC Premium News, Ho Samaa~~

Totally didn't expect the recording of SC Premium to hit the news. So, Takki recorded the SC Premium episode yesterday. Takki mentioned about not liking Tsubasa in the past when they were still juniors. Then, both Taichi (TOKIO) and Takki sang "Love You Only" (TOKIO). Wow! That's really rare! Can't wait to watch this SC Premium episode!

The PV is coooo cute! Even my sis couldn't resist it! She happened to walk by the comp when I was watching it (the nth time) and she kept laughing and grinning away! After that, she said,

PS: The dateline for T&T FC members to apply for Takki's recital tickets is today (Saturday 29th July). J-Net updated yesterday that the tickets are now open to Jr FC members too. The dateline for Jr FC members is Monday 31st July. But so far, J-Net has not updated on which juniors will be involved in the recital yet. I suspect it will be those who went on the Las Vegas trip, similar to Enbujou cast.

I went back and checked my entry I wrote about the concert. The songs that will be cut out are Hitomi wo Tojite and Love Spiral. The dvd is supposed to include MC talk. Will both MC talks be included? And I wonder which performance of Day by Day is included? Cos Takki picked out a different chibiko from the audience during every performance of Day by Day. Will chibiko-Shanou will picked or the little girl who said that she likes Takki (whom Takki hugged!!!)? Also, for Venus, will Takki-sensei teaching everyone the Venus dance be shown? How about Christmas Eve??? Technically, it should be included desho? It was kinda part of the second MC talk!!! Of course, how about Ero Ero Dance 2005??? It was the HG version! And how can I forget about the Yoshitsune Corner where Takki flew around, fought Benkei and suddenly appeared at the back stage!!!! I really hope Yoshitsune Corner will be included. There was no dvd released for Go! Con. So this is the only hope for Yoshitsune Corner to be included!!!

Gyah!! I seem to have so many questions!! I think I'm too greedy. I just want every single thing to be included into the dvd.

Takki's Solo Recital

Takki has a SOLO RECITAL

Event: Takizawa Hideaki Recital
Dates: 5th September to 28th September
Venue: Nissay Theatre

There will 37 performances in total. It is basically an autobiography of Takki's life for the past 24 years, including the difficult times he had gone through of being an idol In one of two compositions, Takki will recite his life history beginning from his childhood till the present. It is a Johnny Kitagawa production where he is in charge of the project, composition, and the entire integrated production.

I think the articles also mentioned that Takki had some form of training for this recital when he was in Las Vegas in June.

The rumours were right!! T&T indeed went to Saipan to shoot their PV for [Ho! Summer]! Look at their tan! Both of them look great and are smiling so happily together too! Hmm...that top that Takki is wearing looks like the same top that he wore to watch wrestling on 3rd July, doesn't it? (Compare the pic I posted 2 entries below.)

This article is about [Ho! Summer] being used as the theme song for Yakult Swallows at Jingu Stadium in Tokyo. The captions are so funny!!! And I think that is a picture of the coach of Yakult Swallows behind them? This article's picture is great! Both of them look so happy and genki! In matching outfits too! Tadaima!!! Minna genki? Actually, I just got back 2 nights ago from a 7-day Hokkaido trip. It was my first time to Japan without any relation to Takki or Takitsuba. All my previous trips to Japan were for events or concerts etc. And this time, I went with my mum! So it was really a purely tourist trip this time round. Ok, so I know I'm late in updating some of the news. There was absolutely no internet available in Hokkaido at all, even in the hotels itself. So the minute I landed back home in the airport, I msged Snuffles and asked her for any news updates. I knew there was going to be some announcement when I was away cos the Avex page updated with some hints before I left. So, finally!!! There's going to be some unit activity!! A single release coming up soon!! It's time really, after such an excruciating long wait for us T&T fans! grrr...

Enbujo Part 1 - JaPaniizu HiStory

Inishie Night & Day

When the theatre opened for seating, the stage was already covered with overlapping layers of blue/purple cloth. Hiromi Goto enters from left and plays the violin. Fumito Kawai (ABC) enters from right and starts dancing. Another junior enters from the hanamichi and does a sensu (a Japanese traditional paper fan) dance. Then, we hear Mori Mitsuko's recorded voice thanking and welcoming everyone to Takki's castle and watching Enbujo. She mentions something about Japanese history and that there were many heroes in Japanese history. But she adds on to say that in modern today, there are also heroes present. (Mochiron! Heeh, I'm assuming that she means Takki here. )

Then, Takki's recorded voice says something like now the show will start. The layers of cloth drop and the music increased tempo. There was a huge screen at the very back of the stage which showed images of castle wall/gates and rotating wheels in the air. There were many juniors on stage with many props. There were these 2 huge carts which were pushed to the front. The carts open up to reveal 2 halves of a huge potrait of Takki's face in his Yoshitsune costume and headgear. The juniors push the carts to join the 2 halves together. Red cloth was used to cover the potrait for a moment. Then, the red cloth were pulled apart and the potrait split into two. And then, TAKKI FLEW OUT Kyahhh!!!!! It was such a shocker!! Everyone went mad I tell you.

Everyone was so excited, kyahing, screaming and clapping!! It was such a sugoi entrance Audience on the 2nd floor were chou ureshi cos Takki flew out directly at about that level. We sat on the 2nd floor for our first show and we were really very excited. I remember seeing a few obaasans sitting on the left side on the 2nd floor and they were waving so excitedly at Takki. Sugee ne? Takki's fans come from such a wide age group.

Takki landed on the main stage. There were many juniors and female dancers on the stage holding traditional paper fans to dance. The back screen on the main stage was used to make the stage seem bigger than it really is. In "Inishie Night & Day", the screen showed many dancers dancing. So it really looked like there were twice as many people on the stage than there really was. In the middle of the song, dancers held 2 white boards and walked across the back screen and Takki disappeared!

But the back screen still showed Takki's image dancing. I think it was meant to be a distraction? Then, the audience sitting on the 2nd floor had another shock! Takki appeared from a door on the right (see pic below) He ran down the steps while a staff was busy clipping the flying rope to his back. Then, the spotlight shone on him and kyah!!! Takki looked chou kakkoii with one foot poised on the railing and then he flew again!!

Takki flew from right to left and landed on the hanamichi. All lights darkened and the spotlight focused on him. Takki gave a short speech on the hanamichi. He invited the audience to learn about Japanese history from watching Enbujo. Takki tripped over his words on the 16th and 17th. Takki could not help laughing whenever he made a mistake and he was sooo cute when he laughed!!! Esp on the 17th cos he tripped over his words quite a few times (about 3 times?)!!!

After the speech, all lights darkened and focus is on the main stage. There are a few chibi juniors on stage playing around. One of them talks to Yabu (Ya3) about his grandfather. Then, Yabu turns his attention and talks to an ojisan who walks up the front steps of the stage. This was when lots of people couldn't help giggling cos the ojisan was Yokoyama Yu (K8) Yoko scolds Yabu "Aho!" and so reveals that he is from Kansai. Yoko then says that 120 years ago, there was a very popular group named "Kanjani 8" and that everyone else have passed away except him. Then, Yoko starts comparing the past and modern day. He says that now everyone is caught up with the Internet and games and have little knowledge of Japan's history. He said something about Shinbashi Theatre and Yabu also mentioned about Takki acting in Yoshitsune last year.

Young Chushingura and the 47 Samurais

Then, Yoko turns his back towards the audience and one of the chibi juniors hands Yoko some clothes. Yoko removes his ojiisan costume and puts on the new clothes on stage. A huge traditional Japanese mansion appeared from under the stage. Then, all the juniors came out on stage one by one holding a lighted electric lantern and introduced themselves. After each had finished their introduction, they would pretend to blow out the light in their lantern. Each of the introduction was unique as they tried to play with the use or pronounciation of the word so that it would be easy to remember their names. It was really interesting. For eg, Tamamori Yuta (KMF2) mentioned Tamori-san from Music Station and Kawai Fumito (ABC) said that he is kawaii.

"Chushingura" is a very famous story of the vendetta carried out in 1703 by 47 rounin (masterless samurai). Upon finding that their master, in breach of the rule of the shougun, had been condemned to commit seppuku (suicide) for drawing his sword in anger inside the palace, they exacted their revenge. Subsequently, they too committed seppuku. The story of "Chushingura" is supposed to depict bravery and loyalty.

PS: Kimutaku had actually acted in a dorama series about Chushingura back in 2001.

Actually, the actual storyline of Chushingura was not used at all. I think they only wanted to use the title to introduce the many juniors involved in Enbujo. And no, I don't think there were 47 juniors involved in Enbujo.

The last junior to introduce himself was Yabu. Then, Yoko introduced their leader (the Young Chushingura) and of course it was Takki!!! He rose from under the trapdoor at the hanamichi! Kakkoii!! Takki then gave another short speech in really super formal Japanese and even gave a little bow at the end of it!

Dance of Spring

After Takki bowed, he removed the outer coat of the costume that he was wearing with the help of a junior. He walked to the main stage while 3 juniors each wheeled in a structure hung full of various types of drums and household items which could be used to produce sounds. For eg, like the wooden washing board used in olden days. The 3 structures formed an inverted U-shape around Takki, who was standing in the centre. Okura and another junior helped Takki put on this big ribbon which held up Takki's sleeves so that the sleeves would not obstruct Takki when he was beating the drums. (He really looked so cute wearing the ribbon!!! Of course, not forgetting that I could now see his super well-defined biceps!!! Ok, I must S-T-R-E-S-S that I do not like big bulky men ie. wrestler or body-building types. And I do not go gaa-gaa over any guy's biceps. I don't know why. But somehow, I only get doki doki and drool over Takki's biceps. ) Anyway, there were another 2 singular drums at each side of the inverted U-shape structure with Okura on the right and the other junior on the left. Okura started beating his drum and the other junior joined in soon after.

Then, traditional-modern fusion music started playing and Takki started beating the different drums and sound-making instruments in rhythm to the music. Chou kakkoii yo!!! I remember there was this little thing that Takki did during this sequence. I'm not sure if it's part of the actual sequence but it didn't really seem like it? Takki would sometimes twirl the drum stick while holding it in his hand, usually his right hand. Although it was just a small action, I thought it looked quite cool and it kinda added in Takki's own style & flavour into the sequence. And then, the 3 sides of the structure were wheeled away, revealing a pretty tall drum behind. Then, Takki simply hopped onto the drum and started jumping to beat the drum. The drum was almost the same height as Takki but he managed to hop onto it so effortlessly! Sugoi!! Near the end of this sequence, Takki had to jump and turn circles at the same time. He turned 2 circles from his left and 2 circles on his right. (I can't remember whether right or left was first. But I was quite worried during this part. What if Takki got dizzy or lost his footing while jumping and turning at the same time and slip and fall or something?? That would be really terrible!! )

Unfortunately, in the official pic above, I think the ribbon didn't manage to hold Takki's sleeves properly so can't see his biceps. But Takki is smiling so cutely in the pic!! Kawaii!!!

Takizawa Commander and the White Tiger Unit

Then, our little drummer boy jumped off the big drum and exited off the main stage on the left. Many juniors and female dancers came on stage. There were many people on stage during this change of scene. (Takki’s exit here was the slowest and most calmed among all his exits in Enbujo. I remember Takki didn’t really sprint for this exit and there was once when he actually walked? There was also once when there was a really chibi junior rushing out from the side onto the main stage and he ran into the way of Takki’s. But Takki simply waited patiently for the junior to run off before exiting. This only delayed Takki’s exit by about 1 or 2 seconds, so you can imagine how rushed all the other Takki’s exits during Enbujo were.) Anyway, the juniors started singing and dancing to a traditional song. (Eto, I have no idea what the title of the song is. Sorry! >.<) Everyone was living peacefully and happily in the countryside. Then suddenly, a group of enemies attacked them. Everyone started fleeing. A few juniors dressed in white remained (including Yabu and Hikaru) and tried to protect the female and the young. These brave and young samurais were the Byakkotai.

The Byakkotai (Unit of the White Tiger) went to Iimoriyama, because they had lost in Tonokuchihara, and wanted to prepare for the next war. But on August 23 1868, they saw smoke in the distance and mistakenly identified it as a fire destroying Tsurugajou, their daimyo's castle. So all the young samurais committed harakiri (ritual suicide). However, Tsurugajou which they thought had burned, and for which they killed themselves, in fact had not burned. Eventually, the war was lost and the castle destroyed. However, there was one survivor on Iimoriyama and the daimyo himself lived well into old age.

Then, Takki entered from the left (I think). He was the commander of the byakkotai. He shouted to them to fight and protect those that they love. Commander Takizawa and the Byakkotai started fighting the enemies. The enemies were all defeated leaving the leader of the enemies, who was Okura (with a purple hair wig).

Everyone surrounded the Okura and was going to kill him when Takki stopped them. Suddenly, gunshots rang out and Takki was shot! The enemy reinforcements entered from the hanamichi and shot at Takki to save their leader. (Another ingenious idea of making full use of the back screen was shown here. Before the gunshots, the audience could actually “see” the enemy reinforcements arriving from the huge back screen on the main stage. But because Commander Takizawa and the Byakkotai were back-facing the screen, they did not know and thus were ambushed.) Then, the enemies started closing in. They also took the Byakkotai’s flag which signified that the Byakkotai had lost. A burning Tsurugajo Castle rose from below the stage.

Takki's Castle!! (Back & Front View)

Shinbashi Theatre is not a very big theatre. You can get a pretty good view of Takki and the main stage from most of the seats. But when we were seated on the 2nd floor, we had to keep leaning forward in our seats to get a better view of the hanamichi.

There is a snack bar and souvenir shop on the 1st floor and a small restuarant and another souvenir shop on the 2nd floor. The snack bar, souvenir shop and restuarant were selling everything relating to Takki that they possibly could ie. Top Stage magazine and kabuki magazine that Takki was on the cover of, Takki bento/ramen sets and Meiji's Amino Collagen too!!

There were also mini cakes with Takki's different characters' faces in Enbujo selling as omiyagae!!! The souvenir shop was even selling the Venus single and K8's FTO album too!! I think the restaurant was the one selling the most expensive bento set of 3,500yen. But I think you have to pre-order it before the show started.

You can also eat this bento set at your seat if you are sitting at the really expensive seats at the left and right side of the theatre. You will have your own individual table with tea served in proper cups too! We each bought the cheapest bento set that we could find. Oishiikatta yo!!! We were all busy snapping photos of the bento set before we started eating.

Inside the train station, near the exit and also on both the 1st and 2nd floors outside the theatre hall, the official Enbujo promotional poster was put up. Everyone was using their kettai and digicams snapping away furiously.

Well, it's obvious why everyone was trying to take a picture of the promotional poster. There was kakkoii Takki in a suit standing on the left and Takki as Sagimusume on the right. You can really see that lots of attention was spent on the make up and hair in order to bring out all the feminine features a female should have. Takki really looks like a female in the pic! If no one pointed out that the picture was of Takki, he can easily pass off as a geniune female

Extra Notes:

Hanamichi - This is a long walkway running from the back of the auditorium to stage right (audience left). It literally means "flower way" and is one of the main acting areas in conjunction with the stage itself. The name is thought to derive from gifts of money, or hana, given by fans or sponsors on this walkway to the actors of their choice.

Many entrances were done along the hanamichi. The audience seated near the hanamichi are really extremely lucky!! They could really see Takki's facial expressions sooo clearly!! The trapdoor located along the hanamichi was used as an entrance many times too.

Mawari Butai - This is the revolving stage which allows scenes to be changed rapidly without a break in the action, as characters 'walk' to the next set which appears around from the back of the previous decor.

Many times, the mawari butai would make a 180 degrees turn and the new set would rise from below while the old set would lower itself and disappear. The stage set-up was really amazing. We were wondering how much space there was underneath the stage as many of the sets were actually hidden underneath the stage, like the burning Tsurugajou and Yoshitsune's burning shelter.

Bukkaeri & Hikinuki - These are techniques used for quick costume changes.
For bukkaeri, the upper half inside part of the costume is pulled down by a stage assistant to cover the lower half outside part. So, the design will match the new upper half costume's design revealed by the change.

For hikinuki, the actor wears 2 costumes, with the outer one being kept in place with some threads hiding the inner one. At the right time, the stage assistants will help to pull the threads and completely pull away the outer costume to reveal the inner one.

The above screencaps were taken from a old junior performance clip from MS I believe. Takki is the one performing and both Tsubasa and Matsujun were the ones helping Takki with his costume. Early training from young for Enbujo ne? Takki used both "bukkaeri" and "hikinuki" numerous times throughout Enbujo. Either the female dancers or jrs will help Takki with these quick costume changes on stage. Reports said that there were supposedly 37 costume changes in total

Takki's New Hairstyle

Takki sported a new hairstyle on Music Station (060505).

Takki has dyed it back to brown. The whole hairstyle is generally still the same except that it is shorter. Also, the right side is undershaven with 2 lines. But his front bangs are still there. ^_^

Both Takitsuba looked and behaved quite subduedly on MS. I think it was because their senpais, SMAP were on the same show. But SMAP was trying to be funny. Both Kimutaku and Nakai kept waving to Takitsuba before Venus started. Nakai even shouted out "Imai". *LOL*

SMAP were the guests for Mini-MS. At the end of Mini-MS just before the introduction of all the guests, Shingo did the Venus cha-cha move and mouthed the word "Venus". At the end of SMAP's talk with Tamori-san, Tamori asked Takki which type of girls does he like. Takki answered with his usual standard answer of "uchi mata". *LOL* Because Takitsuba were the first guests to perform, so unfortunately, there wasn't any proper talk between Tamori-san and Takitsuba.

I liked this Venus performance on MS this time. It was just the 2 of them on the stage. The stage floor had Venus written in red just like on their cd cover. The audience this time was mainly made up of children as it was Children's Day in Japan. There were even fathers who were standing at the back, and let their kids sit on their shoulders to get a better view. Both father and child were dancing to Venus! ^_^ I think it's really great cos you can really see people across different age groups of both sexes dancing to Venus. Venus has really achieved its aim of crossing all borders ne! ^_____^

Takitsuba will appear on MS on 5th May. I think they will perform Venus. I'm kinda hoping that they will perform Venus parapara version. I just checked the MS site but I think it has not been updated. T&T are not listed on the guest list yet.

The FC members received a piece of news today that there will be a Takizawa Enbujo photo album which will only be sold to T&T FC members only. More information will be known from 1st May onwards. Orders will open from 1st May to 15th May. Gyah!!! Why limit it to FC members only??!?

Sorry I've been kind of MIA for the past 2 weeks or so. Went to Takki-land with Snuffles and Syl. After we came back, I've been down with an insanely super strong flu virus which resulted in a inner ear infection. I woke up 2 days after we came back from Takki-land shivering in cold sweat and couldn't even open my eyes. Whenever I tried to open my eyes, the world around me was spinning like crazy. I couldn't even get out of bed! Whenever I tried to move an inch, my head spun and I felt like throwing up. In the end, I couldn't take it anymore and threw up. Disgustingly and left with no choice, I had to throw up into the wastepaper basket in my room. It was the nearest option I had. The toilet was too far and there was no way I could make it there. Hey, at least I didn't dirty my bedroom floor.

Yea, and I sat there throwing up for the next hour or so, till I could summon enough strength to shout for my mum to come over my room. In the end, my parents had to help me into the car and send me to the doctor asap. Unfortuntately, they both had go to work late cos of that. *gomen* The doctor gave me an injection to stop the giddiness and vomitting. Thank goodness an injection takes effect within 15 mins or so. I could finally open my eyes to look around without everywhere spinning around crazily and I finally stopped throwing up too. The doctor said that I might have gotten a flu virus in my flight back and the virus had infected my inner ear.

I thought that was the end of it. But after 2 days, a super loud ringing sound developed in my ears. What was wrong with me?? Because the ringing got worse, I got worried that my ear drums might have been affected. And so I went to visit the doctor...again... The doc said that there was some inflammation liquid in my ear, blocking my hearing and thus causing the ringing sound.

Luckily, after medication, the ringing has gradually subsided and I'm much better now. Just a little ringing left. I had wanted to post about the latest news of Enbujo and Takki's final show earlier. But I guess now is better than never?

I'll definitely be getting my butt down to doing my Enbujo report. It's just that there's so much research to do. Each scene that Takki did from the 7 different folklores are a thesis by itself!!! Not to mention that the most helpful websites are all written in Japanese!! Even Snuffles has difficulty in understanding yo!! Watashi? Dame yo... Dousho.... But I will definitely get the report done. Enbujo is really sooooooo good

Really happy to know that Enbujo will be performed next year again!! Watched the WS clips (Thanks Jan!!!) and it seemed like Matchy-san was the one who announced the news to Takki and everyone else though. But I'm sure Takki knew about it, just that Matchy-san kinda confirmed it by doing the honours of announcing it. *lol* Though... money-wise..*stares bleakly at bank account* Maa..iiya. I shall worry about the $ when the time comes.

Takki really deserves a standing ovation for every single performance of Enbujo. The entire cast of Enbujo did an excellent job too! Kudos to everyone!!! I hope Takki will have a well-deserved break for at least 1 week before he does anything again. Watching Enbujo, it's really taihen to perform 1 show of Enbujo in 1 day, let alone to perform 2 shows!!! It's no wonder that his shoulders broadened by 5cm within 2 months of performing Enbujo!! Takki's clothes had to altered 3 times within these 2 months because of that!!! But Takki really looked veryyyy good in Enbujo!!! Yes, during Diamond, I was obsessed with Takki's biceps while Snuffles was fixated with Takki's "guru guru" legs Regardless of all the 37 (if I remember correctly) costume changes that he amazingly changed into on stage and off stage, he looked great in practically every single one of them. Yes, that includes the female costumes. There was actually more than 1 female costume. Both Snuffles and I prefer the other female costume, which unfortunately was not featured in the promotional poster nor had any photos being sold when we were there.

The ad-lib scene between Yoshitsune and Benkei was a highlight in Enbujo too. It was chou hilarious for one of the shows that we went to. It was so difficult to have to act so serious just before and just after the ad-lib scene. Yoshi couldn't contain his laughter and burst out laughing when the stage lines were supposed to be serious.

Thank you to Johnny-san for letting Takki have this opportunity to perform Enbujo and for writing the script. Thank you to the person who wanted Takki to be the one to bring back life/youth to the kabuki arts world and Shinbashi Theatre. Thank you Tsubasa for finally turning up to watch and support Takki in Enbujo. Thank you Kazuko too. *lol* Thank you to all the VIPS who turned up to watch Enbujo. (Snuffles and I were wondering who else did *NOT* go and watch Enbujo.) Thank you to the entire cast of Enbujo who did a amazing job. Thank you to the juniors who backdanced and sang their hearts out in every performance, especially to that junior in ABC who did so many cartwheels in every show and who helped Takki a lot to perform his bungee jump segment.

Thank you Takki for being the person whom you are, for such a great leader and performer, caring for the feelings and opinions of all the juniors, staff, cast and everyone in the audience. (Snuffles told me that Takki had sat on the 3rd floor in Shinbashi Theatre in order to see the view of someone sitting on the 3rd floor. Thus, he made everyone on stage perform such that even someone sitting on the 3rd floor would not miss any scenes out.) Thank you for performing Enbujo with all your heart, body, mind and soul. I'm sure every single one in the audience has felt and seen all your effort, hard work and training put into such an excellent show.

Venus Event

Johnnys-Net has updated with a Venus event!!!! There isn't much details on what's going to happen in the event. But, the recording date for the event is 13th April 2006, which means Takki and Tsubasa will FINALLY meet again after such a long time of not meeting each other!!!

But oh my gosh!! They are working poor Takki to the bone!!! (YET AGAIN!!!) Takki has 2 shows of Enbujou on the 13th @ 1300 and 1800. The time for the TV audience to gather is at 2100, which means this event recording is really quite late in the night. Takki has to rush to record this Venus event straight away after Enbujou!!! Each Enbujou lasts for 3hrs 15 mins, so Takki will end Enbujou at about 2115 and rush off to record this Venus event!!! Taihen taihen na!!!! Takki, daijoubu??? Gyahh!!!

Even though Takki only has 1 show of Enbujou @ 1800 the next day (14th April), but I'm sure he will still be exhausted from the previous day. Imagine 2 shows of Enbujou PLUS 1 tv recording of Venus!!! Takki really doesn't have any time to rest! He has Enbujou every single day and his next rest day is only on the 21st April!!!

Enbujou Updates

Johnnys-Net has updated with more photos for sale @ Enbujou! Now the number of photos for sale is more than 50! Wow!! I know Shock has more than 95 photos, but 50 is already a lot!!! Oh my gosh... Koichi and Takki fans are all going to be really broke!!

Also, there is a new pop-up message @ Johnnys-Net about counterfeit tickets!! Gosh! How did these people make counterfeit tickets??!! Also, I wonder how did the staff manage to check? Usually, they do not really look at the tickets very closely when tearing them off I think?

Found a English article regarding Enbujou resuming after the fire. it's really short, but it includes the cause of the fire and also Takki's thank you to the staff who helped to resume Enbujou so quickly.

Kame and Jin surprised Takki by attending Enbujou on the re-opening day (25th March). They went on stage and presented Takki with a bouquet of flowers. Of course they took the opportunity to promote their new album too. But more than that, I think it's really such a nice gesture for them to appear and support Takki. Thank you Kame and Jin!!!

Takki must have felt so down after the fire incident plus seeing fans turn up at the theatre for refunds. It must have really broke his heart to see things turn out this way!!! Especially after putting in so much effort, time, training, sweat, heart and soul into Enbujou!!! I really hope Takki felt much better after Kame's and Jin's visit and show of support!!!

Added Shows @ Enbujou

Johnnys-Net has updated today that THREE additional shows have been added for Enbujou's schedule!!!

Added Shows

1) 12th April - 1300hrs
2) 17th April - 1300hrs
3) 24th April - 1300hrs

The additional shows are all added as an earlier show. This means that Takki originally only had one show planned on the above 3 days. Now, an earlier show has been added into the 3 days, making it 2 shows on each day. I don't think there is any way the overall Enbujou schedule can be extended because Shinbashi Theatre has already been pre-booked for other events after 25th April.

Takki updated his Takiren!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read many comments that many cried/teared at the last line of his Takiren! What did Takki say in his last line????? Urgh!!!! Why can't we have access to Takiren?!?!

Also, the schedule of Enbujou will be decided and released to the public today 24th March 2006 at 11AM (JT) at the Shinbashi Theatre website. I will definitely keep refreshing the page during that time!!! The update of Enbujou schedule also made it into the news this morning. Yoimuri + Sanspo They commented that there were 800 faxes and 1000 phone enquiries about the new schedule of Enbujou.

Johnnys-Net has posted a pop-up message when you enter the site today about the fire at Enbujou. In the pop-up message, there is a short apology statement from Takki and another notification message from Shinbashi Theatre.

Takki said that he himself was taihen and shocked when the fire occurred. He and the staf apologise sincerely for the incident. Takki said that he wishes Enbujou will resume as soon as possible.

I really hope Takki is fine. Especially since he says that he hopes Enbujou will resume as soon as possible. So far, Johnnys-Net has not posted any changes to the Enbujou schedule yet. Takki!!!!!! *cries*

OK, NOW I'M WORRIED!!!!! Forget that I said that I think Takki is ok and that Enbujou will continue as scheduled. Just look at the number of fire engines and ambulances!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIRTY-ONE fire engines and FOUR ambulances!!!!!!!

Apparently the fire was started by the gunpowder used in the fireworks. The gunpowder dropped onto some of the props in basement 2 through the gaps on the side of the moving stage (the stage can be ascended and descended). No one passed away but a number of staff suffered minor injuries. All the people in the audience were evacuated.

Enbujou is cancelled for 22nd March and 23rd March shows!!!! 24th March is originally a rest day. The schedule posted at the Shinbashi Theatre shows that Enbujou will resume on the 25th March. But I don't think that's confirmed yet. They probably just didn't amend the schedule.

So far, Takki has only issued an apology to the press. He has not appeared publicly or updated Takiren yet.

Read some fans' comments about Enbujou's opening day! Here goes:

1) The whole performance went without a hitch. (Yata!!!)

2) There was a curtain call with lots of applause. Takki thanked everyone.

3) Many fans said that Takki's kimono pose as a female is very wonderful.

4) There is also a bungee jump stunt this time round, which is apparently quite fast?

5) Water was also used in one of the scenes. A waterfall perhaps?

6) There was a Takki ala carte menu?!

7) A fan commented that she felt it was possible to enjoy the play even if you are sitting anywhere in the audience.

I just went over to Oricon to check the charts and *GASP* Venus has risen into the top 20 of the daily ranking again!!! As of 05/03/2006, Venus is at #17!!!! Previously Venus had dropped out of the top 20, but it has fought its way back!!! Now, if Takki performs Venus during Enbujou, (which I highly suspect that he will) I'm sure Venus will climb its way up the top 20 chart again! Yeah~~~~~

Enbujou starts today!!! The very first show will start in a few hours!! Takki, ganbatte kudasai!!!! May Takki be very pretty in his female role, re-enact his role as Yoshitsune with much ease, showcase his singing and dancing on stage and shine through all 3 parts of the butai!!!! Please take good care of your health and be careful in all the stunts you are going to perform!!! Please do have proper meals too!!

I hope everyone will be awed and blown away by Takki's performance today!! I'm sure the food served will be scrumptous too! *LOL* Will sniff out reports and definitely watch out for WS tomorrow!!!

Takki will attend the premiere movie screening of [The Myth] on 2nd March. [The Myth] is a movie starring Jackie Chan. The cast also includes Bollywood star, Mallika Sherawat and Korean actress, Kim Hee-Sun. The movie has already been shown in other parts of Asia late last year.

How come all of a sudden, it feels/seems like Takki is the spokesman for Jackie Chan in Japan

Takki's role as a woman will be revealed to the public very soon! A photo of Takki dressed as a traditional Japanese dancer was revealed to the entertainment news today. Takki was said to be fair-skinned and had red lips. The make-up for Takki took 2 hours. It apparently turned him into a glamourous/bewitching woman Well, I looked up my dictionary and that was the meaning it came up with, "glamourous" or "bewitching".

Takki commented that he was able to feel the "taihen" of a woman. He wants everyone to go to the musical to see this woman image. Apparently, dressing up as a female in the musical was Takki's own idea. He wanted to challenge himself and also to challenge NINE costume changes during the musical. Sugoi!!!! 9 changes!!! But if the make-up for the female image takes 2 hours, how on earth is he going to manage to switch between the 9 costume changes during the musical Even if he changed during an interval, an interval will not take 2 hours!

Takki is being coached by a professional Japanese dancer for his female image. Besides dressing up as a traditional Japanese dancer, Takki will also dress in modern female wear. The poster of Takki dressed a traditional Japanese dancer will be put up at main Tokoyo Metro stations from 1st March 2006 onwards.

Urm, I'm really happy that Takki likes to challenge himself to greater heights. But I'm kinda worried and anxious as to how this female image will turn out to look like. Kinchou suru!!! The only image of Takki as a female is the photo of Takki dressed in a kimino in last year's calendar. Gyah! Will his feminine image this time be "prettier" or...not??? And I'm not sure how I'll feel after I see any photos of this image. I'm sure there will be photos released at Yahoo Auctions soon after Enbujou starts. Perhaps I'll be pretty calm when I see the photos. But if I really do go and watch Enbujou and see Takki dressed as a woman, walking about on stage and doing everything feminin-ish live with my own eyes, I'm not sure how I'll feel Shocked? Upset? Mixed emotions/reactions?

But I think on top of it all, I really am proud that Takki is ever so willing to accept new challenges. I know he will do a great job at it! Takki, Ganfammi!!!

You might not be familiar with this program. But actually, this is Takki's 2nd time appearing on the show. The first time was back in 2002 when Tackey & Tsubasa first debuted. Then, Koichi co-hosted the program and there was a special episode dedicated to Tackey & Tsubasa's debut. It was the infamous episode where Shingo (SMAP) congratulated T&T on their "marriage". There, having said that, I'm sure everyone remembers this program now.

Takitsuba's new single song [Michi] can already be heard at Kawaijuku's website! You can view the CM there by clicking on either of the 4 buttons under the TVCM header!! It's just a really short preview of Michi though. I think it sounds pretty similar to songs sung by V6. Sounds soothing, but not as slow as a ballad and very different from Venus. Tanoshimi ni!

Darn, why didn't Kawaijuku get T&T to appear in the CM as well? I'm sure students esp female students will be queuing up by the hordes to join their courses. (*^___^*)

Also, on the latest AIUEO which aired in Taiwan yesterday (19/02/2006), Takitsuba appeared near the end of the show and said that they will have an ASIAN TOUR this year. They will go to places that they have NEVER been to. Venus is sung in 3 other languages: Korean, Mandarin and Thai. Since Takitsuba have been to Taiwan and Thailand before, 2 places automatically come to my mind, and of course, because Takki had PROMISED last month in his visit to Hong Kong to return for a concert soon, so I'm thinking: Korea and Hong Kong.

1) Macau's Grand Emperor Entertainment Hotel was opened yesterday. The rich and famous in Macau along with Jackie Chan, Hideaki Takizawa, Twins, Rong Zu-er (Joey) gathered for the ribbon cutting ceremony. They even went to the casino to try their luck.

2) Jackie Chan is one of the shareholders of the hotel.

3) It was raining yesterday and some performances which were intially scheduled, were cancelled.

4) The boss of Emperor Entertainment Group sponsored everyone HK$1000 chips to try their luck in the casino. Because of the great atmosphere and luxurious decoration of the new casino, although Hideaki Takizawa lost the initial sponsered amount of HK$1000, he wanted to play somemore. The Japanese press has also reported about Takki in HK and also of Jackie Chan and Takki acting in an action movie together. The Japanese reports are more detailed about the movie.

Takki will be acting in a Jackie Chan movie to be shown internationally next year. Currently, the Jimusho is still waiting for the script but has commented that Takki can take on roles in a modern or period setting. (You bet he sure can!) The duo will be releasing the movie under the name of Jackie & Tackie (Ano... why "Tackie" of all the names? Yes, I know "Jackie" and "Tackie" kinda rhymmes... but... chotto... ) Takki has to learn Cantonese and speak both Japanese and English in the movie. Live report updates from friends in HK! Will update as and when I get more news!

1) Takki arrived in HK yesterday afternoon (18/01/2006) on Cathay Pacific at about 1300hours.

2) Takki checked into a very expensive hotel which my friend says the cheapest room is about 250,000 yen per night!!!! (I think it's the hotel that he will be attending the opening ceremony for)

3) Takki was very very yasashii at the airport!!! He was smiling all the way and he acknowledged and smiled at the fans who called his name!!!! He even shook a few lucky fans's hands!!!

4) Takki had dinner with Jackie Chan yesterday!!!!

5) Takki will meet 30 lucky fans for a private event on board a ship. THIRTY?!!! OMG!!!! How close will these 30 people be to Takki

6) The opening ceremony for the hotel will be at 1300hours.

1) Takki had the interview with the reporter yesterday. He was very polite and friendly. He did not put on any airs at all.

2) Takki will be in HK/Macau for 3 days 2 nights.

3) After the interview yesterday, Takki went to Tsim Tsa Tsui for food.

4) Takki will have a press interview this evening in HK on-board a ship to promote Venus.

Translation of the interview:

Reporter: The new song [Venus] will be sung in 4 differnt languages. Which country's language did you find the most difficult to handle?

Takki: It should be Mandarin.

Reporter: What is your impression of Hong Kong?

Takki: A few years ago, I came to Hong Kong to shoot a dorama. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to stay for long. So I have not been around to see Hong Kong. But I think the food is very delicious in Hong Kong.

Reporter: 2 years ago, you went to a Shaolin temple to practice skills for a TV program. You are very interested in Chinese martial arts skills?

Takki: I myself like Chinese martial arts skills a lot.

On Takki's thoughts of starring in a Hong Kong based movie/film...

Reporter: If you are invited to shoot a Hong Kong action movie/film, do you have the confidence to act in one?

Takki: If there is a chance, of course I will!

Reporter: What do you feel is the difference between Hong Kong actresses and Japanese actresses?

Takki: Just now, in the car on the way from the airport to the hotel, I saw many billboards/advertisements on the facade of buildings. In the billboards/advertisements, I realised that Hong Kong actresses are very pretty. They are very different from the typical Japanese actress's cute image.

Reporter: What do you think of Taiwan's Roy Chiu? He is claimed to be "Taiwan's Hideaki Takiwaza".

Takki: ?? I have never heard of this/him?? (Takki laughs.)

Reporter: He has recently went to Japan to do promotion.

Takki: (Reporter hands Takki a picture of Roy Chiu) Fufufu~~~~ (pointing to the picture) Actually, he looks more like Domoto Koichi right?

Thoughts on a concert tour...

Reporter: Going to Macau to be a special guest for the Grand Emperor Hotel opening ceremony, have you ever been to Macau?

Takki: This is my first time going to Macau.

Reporter: Will you go to the casino to play gambling?

Takki: I want to try. But there might not be enough time. Unfortunately, perhaps next time!

Reporter: Will you be busy when you return to Japan?

Takki: I will have a musical in March and April. The storyline is about Japanese history.

Reporter: For this coming year, what will be the progress for Takitsuba (in terms of singing)?

Takki: I do not know yet. But there will definitely be a Takitsuba concert tour.

Reporter: Any plans on having a concert in Hong Kong?

Takki: I really want to have a concert in Hong Kong. Actually, at every concert (in Japan), there are always Hong Kong and Taiwan fans who come to support.

Takki to attend Hotel Opening Ceremony

THE EVENT IS HUGE!!! OMG!!!

Notes about the article:

1) Grand Emperor Entertainment Hotel Opening next friday (20th January) 20 million (Hong Kong dollars I believe) was spent on the opening

2) Takki will attend the opening with Jackie Chan and Jacky Cheung

3) It is said that Takki's idol is Jackie Chan and that Takki loves to watch his action films so this is a rare chance for Takki to meet him! (Takki's idol is Jackie Chan Hontou desuka? Hmm... interesting... I didn't know that! But of course it's not that surprising because Takki is quite a gym enthuasist and loves pro-wrestling ne. )

4) Takki will go on this trip with Johnny Kitagawa himself They will lead a team of Fuji TV crew and many other Japanese reporters to cover the event. (OMG! Kitagawa is going?! But I seriously doubt he will expose himself to the media. He will most probably hide in the background. But OMG! Takki is going with Kitagawa! I think it's pretty stressful to go along with your boss desho? Kinchou shimasu ne... )

5) It is Takki's first time in Macau and he will stay for 2 nights in Macau. (Wana bet he's sponsered a room in the hotel itself? ) Then, Takki will go to Hong Kong to attend another press promotion event.

6) The article briefly mentioned that Takki is claimed to be Takuya Kimura's successor. Takki shot to fame by starring in the classic dorama [Majo no Jouken] and he is in the unit with Imai Tsubasa forming "Tackey and Tsubasa". He is very popular in the Asian region. The article says that it is believed that Takki's presence in Macau and Hong Kong will attract many fans to go 'idol-chasing'.

7) Besides Japan, Korea is sending a few big stars as well. (Erm, I don't know the names of Korean stars so...gomen ne! I only know a star from the popular Korean drama "Stairway to Heaven" is attending the event? Don't know the other names mentioned. )

8) All the stars under the Hong Kong entertainment company "Emperor Group" will attend the event. (I believe it's because Emperor Group has shares in the hotel?) Some of the stars include Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse, Twinz etc.

I how the article names Takki in the title as the main overseas guest star alongside with Jackie Chan. The article writes it as Takki, Jackie Chan and Jacky Cheung as the main stars attending while the other stars were added only three-quarters into the article. OMG! This event is huge! Ok, at first, I was abit negative when I heard that Takki is attending the opening of a casino. But now that I found out it's not exactly a casino but a hotel (with a casino), it's not THAT bad. Plus, so many Asian megastars are going to grace the event! OMG!! This is really huge!!!

Takki, omedetou gozaimasu!!!! This will really open up your options and opportunities so much more! It's really excellent news!!! All the press from so many countries will cover the event! It's really a huge exposure for Takki!

Takki will be going to Macau and Hong Kong on the 20th of January to promote Takitsuba's new single [Venus]!

1) The single's promotion will be done by air (helicopter), sea (yacht) and by land (ferrari) Apparently, the record company wants Takki to meet the fans in style.

2) Takitsuba's new single [Venus] will be released on the 18th January simultaneously at the same time in SIX different Asian countries, namely, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taiwan and Thailand.

3) Takki will be going to Macau and Hong Kong alone (But why?! It's a unit single! )

4) Takki will first attend a huge event in Macau before going to Hong Kong.

5) NHK taiga drama in 2005 [Yoshitsune] garnered very good ratings and Takki's 2 solo concerts @ Yokohama Arena were a sell-out. Takki first went to Hong Kong in 1999. Quick Notes:

1) TSUBASA CAME TO WATCH TAKKI in the 1st show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kyah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They sang Venus together during the concert and also during the encore. Tsubasa was wearing a black coat with a black scarf and black pants with a white top inside. I think he looks good. I think maybe it's because I'm getting used to his hairstyle now already? *lol*

2) Takitsuba MC Talk!!!! Lotsa rabu rabu!!! Tsubasa took a photo with an Olympus camera (obviously *lol*) of Takki and the fans in the background. Then, Tsubasa took a photo of himself and Takki was still behind him. *ROFL* Takki showed everyone the photo which Tsubasa took by putting the camera near the dvd camera. Only Tsubasa's head was shown and Takki was small figure at the back. *LMAO* The whole MC talk was so cute and rabu rabu!!! We were laughing all the time!!! Plus, Takki said he will go for Tsubacon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Takki, I will see you again!!!! Zetai!!!!!!

3) Venus dance lesson was hilarious!!! Takki was sooooooo cute!!!!! Even when he made mistakes when teaching us, he was soooooo cute!!!! Kyah!!!!!

4) When Takki sang "Get Down", the spotlight shone on Tsubasa standing in the box section and he was clapping along to the song. *LOL* Shige was seen standing beside Tsubasa.

5) 2nd show, Takki sang Venus twice during the concert. At the end, everyone refused to leave. Takki sang Venus twice again during the encore. The final encore was a saluation. But HADAKA Takki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kyah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6) THERE WILL BE A CONCERT DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm soooooooo happy and proud of Takki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- Backdancers: ABC, JJ Express, KisMyFt2

- Band: Five (They were wearing kimonos)

- Opening: Takki appeared from inside a cart in the centre aisle. But there was something wrong with the cart. It could not move properly. So Takki had to get down from the cart and walk to the stage and climb up the stage. Takki wore a white glittery costume similar to the opening costume of Takitsuba's Harucon 2004.

- Balance to Hitomi Wo Tojite: Takki changed his white coat to a gold glittery one and wore a cap with a pink feather sticking up. It was like a Peter Pan cap.

- Hi no Ataru Basho: Takki sat in a small red car driven by one of the juniors around the whole hall. (sorry I can't recognise most of the juniors!!) He stopped and got out to walk abit in front of the family seats. The chibikos are always so lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- MC Talk 1: Takki bascially talked about the work he had done in 2005, especially Yoshitsune. He thanked everyone for their support and said that it was the first time that he had so much emotions and cried for a drama. He promoted Satomi Hakkenden too. The CM of Satomi Hakkenden was airing before the concert started as well.

- Yoshitsune Corner: Shanou-sama fighting Benkei. There was flying again, but less this time. However, the stage set-up was different. A moving bridge was built into the stage. 2 halves of the bridge came to join together and protruded abit out of the main stage. Shanou-sama and Benkei fought on the bridge. If anyone watched Takki's version of Dream Boy, the bridge is very similar to the jetty setup in Dream Boy.

Besides the infamous Shanou-Benkei bridge scene, this time, they showed Yoshitsune-sama's last scene too. Juniors fought with Benkei and "stabbed" their swords into Benkei. This was Benkei's last scene protecting Yoshitsune-sama before Yoshitsune committed suicide in the shelter. There was a paper screen showing Yoshtisune-sama behind the scene taking his own life. At the crucial moment, the paper screen ignited and burst into flames. Gyah....so reminds me of the scene in Yoshitsune. (T__T)

- Fight All Night: After the paper screen disappered in flames, Takki appeared at teh back stage and sang this song. He was wearing a green/army/camouflage theme. 1 side of the sleeves had a long piece of green cloth attached to it so it was moving constantly with Takki's hand. It was really interesting. I liked it! (^_^)V

- Andalusia ni Akogarete: A junior from JJ Express read Tsubasa's letter to Takki while the main screen showed past photos of Takki and Tsubasa till present day. Then, Takki performed Andalusia. Takki wore a shiny dark silver suit and a hat with hanging accessories. KAKKOII!!!! However, Takki did not take off his jacket to do the jacket move in Andalusia. But Takki did a really good job!! I was really surprised!!! Takki shows us that he can do a wide variety of songs and dance too!!! (^___^)

- Kimi no na wo Sakebitai: Today was the first time that I heard the whole Zubari ending song. It's really nice!!!!! During one of the chorus, the main screen showed ALL the names of the people who won tickets to Takkicon @ Osaka. It was like credits rolling up the screen. Takki said that the staff spent a really long time typing in all the names, preparing for this song. Wow!!! Can you imagine your name appearing on the screen? It's really such a nice gesture by Takki! I mean I know it's not him who typed all the names in. But Takki wanted to show his gratitude to everyone who came to watch his first solo concert. So he wanted the names to appear on the screen. Thank you Takki for being so thoughtful!!!!

- Day By Day: The main stage had a 3 piece white sofa set. I remember when Takki sang this song in the Sugao concert, a sofa set was also being used. Takki went round the hall with all the juniors following behind him singing this song. When Takki went round to the right side of the hall, he picked a chibiko from the family section and HELD his/her hand and led him/her to the main stage while singing the song. More juniors appeared from the door from 2nd floor and walked down to the aisle. Then, all the juniors would follow behind Takki and the SUPER LUCKY chibiko.

Takki picked a boy dressed as Shanou in the 1st show. The boy wasn't very happy to be on stage. He just wanted to go back to his mother. Takki asked who he likes\fave idol and he did not answer. Takki asked if he liked Takki and he shook his head. Then, Takki asked if he liked Tsubasa and he shook his head too. Whatever Takki asked, the boy just shook his head. (~_~) Takki picked a girl in the 2nd show. She was wearing a yumeno pink boa and was holding a Takki uchiwa. The girl was more co-operative. She said that she likes Takki and Takki immediately HUGGED her!!! KYAH!!!!!

- Venus: Takki taught everyone the hand movements to Venus. Chotto muzukashi ne!!! Takki was really cute when he teaching everyone. In the 2nd show, Takki taught a movement wrongly and was corrected by ABC. Takki said "Who's solo conccert is this? Ja, please take over!" *ROFL* Takki praised everyone in the 2nd show for doing the moves very well. Ma ne, I think it's because most of the audience were repeated from the 1st show. I think I got the hang of it now. *lol* Takki was really soooo cute when he was teaching everyone. KAWAII!!!!

- Christmas Eve: Takki sang this song because he said that it's Christmas Eve tomorrow. A junior handed him a lyric sheet but Takki only glanced a few times at it. So I presume this song was a last minute addition? In the 2nd show, he asked everyone what they are doing tomorrow. Fans shouted Kinki Kids because Kinki Kids is having a concert tomorrow in Osaka.

- Takki went round the back in a cart like usual Takitsuba practice. In the 1st show, Takki sang a song which Koki from KATTUN and him collaborated and wrote. Koki wrote the rap section. Takki kinda sang the background melody part. Takki displayed his disco scratching disc skill again. However, I think the response was not very good. So in the 2nd show, Takki sang Da.Ke.Do instead.

- Ni Ju Gatsu no Hana: I love this song!!!! It's a new song and it sounds really great!!!! I'm wondering if this is the song Tsubasa was supposed to write for him?

- Kamen: I felt that Takki was chotto sabashi yo... performing a unit song alone and I felt it was more obvious in Kamen because Takki performed the dance alone. Kamen has a few dance parts which look better when performed as Takitsuba.

- Ero Ero Dance 2005: Takki wore a black lace see through open coat with a huge yumeno pink boa with black sunglasses and a black cap with the letters "HT" on the cap. I think it's supposed to be an imitation of HG. There was a female figure on the main screen talking to Takki and inviting him. *LOL* Takki apologised after the dance "Sumimasendeshita" in the 1st show.

I felt that the ero dance this time was not that ero. I'm glad that Takki lost the net-tee that he wore previously. But I thought he could really lose that BIG FAT yumemo boa!!!! It was totally blocking the view of his abs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Takki, please more of your abs!!! It's supposed to be an ERO ERO dance yo!!!! *lol*

- Fans requested for Venus as 2nd encore in the 2nd show. He was still wearing the black lace see through coat but WITHOUT the boa! YES!!!!! (^______^) Takki sang it round the hall while trying to do the hand movements at the same time. It looked like he was having quite a difficult time. *lol*

- Takki came out for a 3rd encore hadaka. But he only came out to ask us to go home as he was worried that there would be no more trains due to bad weather conditions.

- Concert Goods:
1) Uchiwa = Takki dressed in a white top and wearing a white Christmas cap with a light blue background.
2) Poster = One is Takki dressed totally in white as Santa Claus complete with carrying a bag of presents behind him. The other is a HUGE closeup of Takki.
3) Concert Pamphlet = White thick book about half of A4 size (I have not looked through the pamphlet yet. *lol*)
4) Clear File = Closeup of Takki, similar to poster
5) Shopping Bag = White with the logo at the bottom corner and dog foot prints with a cute little picure of Hidezo at the side. Mecha mecha kawaii!!!
6) Hidezo Model = The concert good everyone was was waiting for... DID NOT ARRIVE. Due to the snow and bad weather, all the Hidezo dolls could not arrive in time for Takkicon. Everyone queued early in the morning and waited in the cold for nothing. There were fans who were quite upset about it. The staff put up signed everywhere for fans to write in to a address to request and buy the doll. Requests/orders to REACH the address by 26th December!!!! How on earth is that possible??!!! Everyone started writing down the address and using their kettai to take photo of the notice and address. This is really terrible!!! There are many overseas fans who came and now they cannot buy the Hidezo model!!!! We asked a staff and he went to enquire for us. He told us that we could send them all the contacts in Japan that we have ie. hotel name, address and telephone number. If they could send the dolls out before we leave Japan, tehy would send to the hotel. If not, they would contact us in Singapore. I have no idea how that is going to work. Will they really call us even when we are back in Singapore??? Gyahhh!!!! Hidezo mitai!!!!!!! (T_____________T)

Other than the HUGE botch-up of the Hidezo doll and that i was really very far away from Takki, I had a really great time at the concert! Though my feet hurt from standing so long and dancing to the songs and my voice is going, this is usual at concerts. *lol* Venus is catchy and though the hand movements are abit difficult at first, it's not so bad after a few practices!! Really! I think it's really fun to learn the movements with Takki and dance and sing along to the song with Takitsuba. Hmm..will Tsubasa teach the movements and sing the song in Tokyo Forum? I'm definitely looking forward to Takkicon @ Yokohama!!!
